Hi Folks! Being a sports enthusiast I cannot agree more with the rest of you about the unique necessity of sunshades while sporting (literally!)
Not only do they add a great deal of charm to your personality but they also protect your charismatic eyes from the harsh rays of the sun that are quite injurious. I haven’t seen a single sports celebrity posing without a pair of their favorite shades and me too I always carry my glares with me in my bag.

Sports like skiing, golf and outdoor activities like trekking etc, require a pair of sunglasses that are light and are not a headache while playing and can be fitted perfectly over the eyes and then “forgotten” about. One should not have to bother about them or adjust them time and again.

Another requirement that I feel is essential for any Sports Sunglass to qualify as a winner is their sturdy design
The sports sunglass should necessarily have a sturdy make and look very rugged and macho. I would not like to wear Shades that would go with my tuxedo, to my golfing match!

Another qualification for good sports glares would be the material of the frame. I feel it should be made of steel or alloy or even good quality fiber that is lightweight and strong. Even if I happen to drop it accidentally it should not shatter and break.

I always wear sports shades that are polarized. This polarization makes the vision clearer and removes any distortion that might crop up due to sharp lights. Polarization of the lenses is very helpful in cutting out strong lights and ensuring clear visibility. Imagine you are skiing in the snowy Alps and are suddenly blinded by the sun’s rays reflecting back from the white snow. Gosh! That would be pretty dangerous folks. So always put on your sports sunglasses before you go sporting!
